Interaction+ Storytelling + Decoding

One of the days the team spent the entire day shadowing different teachers in the Mathru Center for the Different Abled. If you didn’t know that one of my projects this summer on the iSTEP internship was to lead an in depth Needs Assessment of Mathru’s new center then you should first read this blog post. We got to interact directly with the students. Class sizes in both of Mathru’s schools are very small. The student to teacher ratio is about 9:1. Teachers were only too glad to let us shadow them during the course of the day and ask them questions.
